Nonprofit Flight1 Hires Purdue Alum Caroline Hoy
Indianapolis – March 1, 2016 – A local nonprofit, Flight1, announced the hiring of Caroline Hoy as executive director. She will be reporting to Flight1 founder, Marcus Strawhorn. In her new position, Hoy will focus on corporate sponsorships, as well as expanding the number of children participating in the program, which she is very passionate about.
“Children struggle so much when there is a health issue affecting them or their family. It is incredibly rewarding to provide something for them to look forward to,” Hoy said.
Hoy has been working as a social media marketing consultant for the last four years, and has a degree in Aviation Administration Technology from Purdue University. She obtained her private pilot license while at Purdue. Hoy has been a featured speaker for local “Sparks Talk” and the “Listen to Your Mother” show.
