March Madness is right around the corner and so is Indy’s own Brackets for Good, where charities like Flight1 advance through the rounds based on donations to their cause. The winner won’t get to cut down the nets but they will take home a $10,000 prize!
“We’re proud to be a part of Brackets for Good for the first time,” says Flight1 founder Marcus Strawhorn. “Like any newcomers, we face a tough challenge, but overachievers are always a hit. Look at Butler. Their success actually inspired the creation of Brackets for Good.” He added that Flight1 will use Brackets for Good donations toward its mission of building confidence in children who face health challenges or have lost an immediate family member to illness.
We at Flight1 are determined to be the belle of this year’s ball and to have fun doing it. To that end, Marcus will mark our progress on a video blog by slowly transforming into Cinderella as we make our way toward victory!
Brackets for Good tips off Friday, February 28th. Don’t miss this chance to help our Courageous Fliers build confidence that will last long past when the clock strikes midnight.
