Flight1 has appointed Scott Farrar and Matt Bitar to its Board of Directors.
Scott earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently Senior Director of Aviation Operations for Eli Lilly. Scott says, “The idea of using flight, a passion of mine, to build confidence in children affected by medical challenges seemed like a perfect fit. I enjoyed meeting the children and their families at Community Day and seeing the difference this program is making.”
Matt is a graduate of Ball State University and is currently Vice President of Government Lending Programs at BMO Harris Bank in Indianapolis. “What got me interested in Flight1,” Matt says, “was that my wife lost her father to illness at a very young age. It still affects her today. And as a parent myself, I feel that having the chance to do something special for kids is the greatest reward anyone can have.”
Scott and Matt each bring empathy, commitment and stellar business credentials to Flight1 and will be invaluable in helping guide our growth in the years ahead.
