Flight1 Adds Director

The Flight1 Board of Directors recently approved Chad Roots as their newest member. Chad, a Certified General Appraiser, earned his undergraduate degree at Ball State University and holds an MBA from that institution’s College of Business.

One of Chad’s cherished memories is his own introduction to aviation. “After meeting a pilot and taking my first flight,” he says “my aviation interest soared.” Chad attended a Flight1 event at Indianapolis Regional Airport and was immediately drawn to the organization. “Seeing the amount of joy the children received, I was compelled to get involved. To bring a little joy into the lives of innocent children is really what giving back is all about.”

When away from the office, Chad enjoys bicycling and family time with his 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter.

Chad joins Casey Blake, Jolene Fredriksz, Bob McGauley, Sean Obermeyer, Kristin Seed, and founder Marcus Strawhorn on the Flight1 board. Terence Shackleford and Colleen Sheehy serve as advisors.
