The board welcomes Sandy Strawhorn

Sandy Strawhorn, a business management graduate from Ball State University has joined Flight1 as the newest chairperson for the organization. In the role of Family Engagement, Sandy will work with participating families, local airports, and program supporters to develop an aviation experience that meets the needs of each child.
With experience as an educator and as a licensed stock broker, Sandy has the skills and compassion to both manage events as well as cater to the needs of each child. As Sandy has been indispensable in this role for the last few months, the recent appointment is in effect symbolic but greatly deserved.
About Flight1
The Flight1 program helps children affected by serious illness experience the joy and confidence brought through flight and aviation. The program is a year round engagement with the aviation community and includes airport tours, air shows, flights and much more.
