COVID-19 has left many in a place of uncertainty, and the children in our program at Flight1 are feeling that uncertainty as well. They are unable to get back on the runway, back to the stimulators, and back to flying. Confidence is something that is so vital for our children and we weren’t going to let COVID-19 stop us from continuing to provide them with that essential encouragement. With the help of pilots from FedEx, Jet Linx and others in the community, the children have been receiving letters of encouragement from professional pilots. We are so thankful for all of the pilots who have taken the time to write letters. Together we are continuing to lift their spirits and build their confidence.
