Connor Brashear is a native Hoosier and Indiana University graduate living in Chicago. He currently serves in the Chicago Mayor’s Office for Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot, acting as Chief of Staff for the Chief Financial Officer of the City. After graduating from the Kelley School of Business he began his career in investment banking at HSBC Bank in New York City. Prior to beginning his career in banking, Connor interned in the White House for President Barack Obama. During his time in the Mayor’s Office, Connor has been involved in a number of projects ranging from standing up a broadband expansion program for students in the city to implementing a low-interest loan fund for disadvantaged small businesses to helping to develop the first ever Chicago casino. Connor is an aspiring private pilot and is currently licensed to fly solo as a student.
